Set in the tallest hotel in the world (it's Dubai…), this sophisticated Art Deco steak house is impressive from, from the awesome setting, to the faultless staff and mergence of fine dining without pretense. Offering guests a menu of various cuts of Argentinian, USDA Prime and Blackmore Australian Wagyu, with delicate starters and colloquial fine dining twists. With an interesting selection of mustards (from tarragon to black olive basil) and personalised touches, wine is just as much a part of the experience here, poured from Riedel Amadeo crystal decanters (the concept is that the grape breathes differently and the shape is tailored accordingly). There is a small bar and the restaurant caters to all moods (with intimate curtained booths, large tables that lap up the jaw dropping scape and a main restaurant that provides a more interactive atmosphere). The private dining room with vintage telescope is exquisitely designed with panoramic floor-to-ceiling views. Smooth jazz sets the tone, while you feel immersed in the good life (think Don Draper Mad Men). Staff also have a voice and know their trade. CP Tip: We recommend the steak and Prime 68 crab cake, while those with a sweet tooth should opt for the cheesecake with cream cracker base or bread pudding. Sweet potato mash with marshmallows and lobster mac and cheese sides are a must for those who relish naughty food.
