Open for dinner, this charming restaurant is a taste of the Far East, with Thai, Chinese and Vietnamese all playing a part in the menu. A nod to street food, diners are served complimentary betel leaves (not actual beetles, but a sweet, salty, sour and crunchy mix of spice, veg and dried shrimp, in a leaf) as an amuse bouche to temp pre-feast. We say feast…portions aren't large here but prices are reasonable, food is fresh and full of flavour, with several variations of rice (try the black) and there's lots of tempting traditional options to choose from. All can be enjoyed on the atmospheric terrace amidst colorful hanging cages, while parked on a rickshaw, at an intimate round table, or in the comfort of your own private dining room. A perfect colloquial touch; tuk tuks offer lifts to and from the restaurant. CP Tip: For dessert try the caramel palm sugar and pandan crème brûlée with coconut ice cream.
