Not lauded for its Spanish restaurants, El Sur is a welcomed addition to Dubai; a mix of modernity and tradition with a contemporary indoor setting and an extensive bar. The outdoor terrace is inviting and the menu offers mainly classic fare with a few international twists, like the red snapper and pumpkin gnocchi, and grade-six Wagyu steak with padrón peppers. Staff are very welcoming and eager to suggest if you're feeling indecisive. CP Tip: We recommend the charcuterie board served with traditional tomato bread (for those who dine on swine), potatas bravas with chorizo, fresh and punchy ceviche with guacamole, and the torrjas (typical Spanish bread dessert) with lemon ice cream.
