With a menu of signature dishes and recipes influenced by local culture as well as accomplished Executive Chef Timothy Newton's personal creations, Bagatelle came to Dubai with a bang (known for its raucous party atmosphere). Restaurants in some of the world's coolest cities; including Punta Del Este, Sao Paulo and New York, make up for the somewhat naff decor. But if the Bar Menu doesn't tempt (not for the calorie conscious; think lobster and truffle pizza, Kobe burger with Raclette cheese and onion fondue, pan seared foie gras and duck confit), their fresh salads, tartars and well-executed seafood options will. Crafted cocktails and bouncing ceilings (quite literally, the ceiling has been designed to bounce) furnish the throng and the lobster pasta is a good place to start (or end as the case may be)... CP Tip: If you don't want to have your plates swept from under your fork, we recommend the later sitting. If the impending anxiety of the staff isn't off-putting enough, the lingering, conveyor belt consensus will be a turn-off.
